A message from our owner Kix Nelson
After 10 years of standing behind a chair, I’m hanging up my clippers.
Outlaw Gentlemen will remain in business, and I will still own it. I just won’t be cutting hair anymore. You’ll still see me around the shop from time to time and I’ll keep supporting my barbers, and teaching the next generation.
December 23rd, 2025 will be my last official day cutting hair. This decision did not come easy, but it’s the right one. My health, my future, and my family deserve more of my time and focus.
For the past decade, I’ve stood behind a chair, nine of those years right here in Rogersville at Outlaw Gentlemen. I’ve put in the long days, worked hard to build something from nothing, and I’m proud to say we accomplished more than I ever imagined.
I love being a barber, I love my clients. I love the connections this business has given me. Some of the best people I’ve ever met came into my life because of barbering, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
Thank you to everyone who has ever trusted me with your haircut, whether it was just once or once a week for 10 years. Your support and friendship mean more than I can put into words.
I hope you continue to support Outlaw Gentlemen by sitting with Katie, Mike, Katherine, or Tyler. They all do amazing work and will be more than ready to take care of you when I leave.
I look forward to these last few months of cutting hair. They’ll be special to me, and I hope they’ll be special to you too.
Thank you,
Kix Nelson
Katie Sampaio is officially out on maternity leave until further notice. Both Katie and Outlaw Gentlemen ask that you please respect her time away from the shop and her privacy as she prepares for the arrival of her baby. Please contact the shop directly with any questions or concerns about your next appointments.
While she’s out, any one of our barbers will be happy to take care of you and make sure you’re in good hands. We appreciate your support during this exciting time for Katie and her family.
We have ONE chair left to fill and were looking for the right person who wants to join us!
Serious inquiries only. If you treat the hair business like just a job, keep scrolling. We’re not looking for someone who clocks in and zones out. We want one professional who takes this industry seriously and is ready to build a career, not just fill a chair.
Applications for this position can be found directly on our website under the careers tab.

New Policy For 2025
There are 260 working days a year. One no-call no-show per working day on a $25 haircut is a loss of $6,500 a year in revenue. We average about 6 no-call no-shows per day (3 per location). That is a loss of $39,000 a year in revenue for our business just from people not showing up to the appointment they booked!
Due to the rampant amount of no-call no-shows we had from people who booked appointments and then didn't show up to them in 2024, we will be implementing a new policy in 2025.
You will now be required to put a credit card on file when you book an appointment. That credit card will be charged 50% of the service price that was booked if you no-call no-show your appointment. After your second no-show you will no longer be able to book an appointment with us.
We hate to do this, but the fact is we are losing a ton of money from people no calling and not showing up to their appointments. Unfortunately some bad apples ruined it for everyone and we are forced into this policy.
Please join us in congratulating Katherin Anderson on her promotion to General Manager of Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop!
With over 13 years of experience in the hair industry, Katherin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
During her tenure with us, she has exhibited a strong understanding of our culture and a passion for our mission as a company. Her new duties includes creating standardization across all shops to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
We are confident that her leadership will drive our commitment to excellence and enhance the experience for both our clients and staff.
Congratulations Katherin!
Check out some of our awesome Google reviews from just a few of our happy clients! If you have been to one of our shops and had a great experience we would love to hear from you! Please take some time to go leave us a Google review. It really helps us out and helps spread the word about our stores. We sure do appreciate it!
Fun OG Fact - 8 years ago, when we were in the development process and laying the foundation of building a barbershop, we had a totally different name planned.
The first name we came up with for our barbershop concept was Outlaw Country Barber Shop.. We had the logo designed and paperwork all drawn up and we had planned on calling it The OC for short..
As we were sitting in the office getting ready to sign the papers for Outlaw Country Barber Shop, it hit me.... "We should call it Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop and call it The OG for short"
And that is the moment the Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop was born.... Check out the original logo we drew up 8 years ago below..
Our friends over at Mountainside Outfitters Missouri are very graciously holding this raffle for Fordland High School's 2024 Project Graduation fundraiser and we are selling tickets at the OG!! We have about 30 tickets left! Friday at 6pm they will be gone! Bring cash! Kix's son is a senior at Fordland this year! Let's help them out and get these tickets gone!
